The inflation rate in Saxony has risen slightly again.
According to preliminary information from the State Statistical Office in Kamenz, the annual inflation rate was 2.5 percent – an increase of 0.2 percentage points compared to February. Inflation had declined in the months before.
Consumers rose by 0.6 percent compared to the previous month of February: internal prices in Saxony. The main drivers were seasonal prices for clothing and shoes (plus 3.8 percent) and in the leisure, entertainment and culture category (plus 0.9 percent).
