Toverland shuts down attractions during Remembrance Day | 1Limburg

Toverland amusement park will hold a two-minute silence on Wednesday evening during the National Remembrance Day. The attractions will then be temporarily stopped.

In the amusement park in Sevenum, visitors are also asked to be quiet between 20:00 and 20:02 to commemorate war victims. The attractions are not running at that time and the music is stopped.

The commemoration will be announced in the park in Dutch, German and English.

Actually, the park closes at 8:00 PM. Because of the Remembrance Day, Toverland will remain open a little longer. After the two minutes of silence, people who are still waiting in line for an attraction have their turn.

Looopings reports that other large Dutch amusement parks, including the Efteling, are closing their doors before the national commemoration moment.
