Tennis player Tamara Korpatsch was eliminated in the first round of the WTA tournament in Lausanne.
The 27-year-old from Kaltenkirchen lost her opening match at the $251,750 clay court event against number three seeded Irina-Camelia Begu from Romania 4-6, 2-6. Korpatsch had tested positive for the corona virus after the grass classic in Wimbledon and had to cancel her start at the tournament in Contrexeville, France the previous week.
