Tottenham Hotspur has won another prize after seventeen years. The club from London insured itself with a victory over Manchester United (1-0) of the Europa League win. The team of coach Ange Postecoglou can therefore participate in the Champions League next season.
The previous trophy of the Spurs dates from 2008 when the League Cup, the second cup tournament of England, was won. The decisive goal fell just before half -time in San Mamés, the Stadium of Athletic Club from Bilbao.
