The USA-American fashion company Tory Burch LLC has reorganized its management team for international business. At the top is Thibault Villet, who was promoted to President, International Director for APAC, Japan and Eume.
Villet came to Tory Burch at the end of 2020 and, as President of APAC, took over the management of activities in the Asian-Pacific area. In 2023 his area of responsibility was expanded to include Japan, now he also received responsibility for Europe and the Middle East.
Under Villet’s leadership, Paolo Zullo will be responsible for the individual and wholesale business as well as e-commerce in the corresponding markets from next July as President of Europe and the Middle East.
The new China boss Joshua Chen comes from Loewe
Previous posts as President of China will be given to Joshua Chen on June 30th. He was last Managing Director for China at the Loewe fashion house, which belongs to the French luxury goods group LVMH. Before that, he had worked on Louis Vuitton China.
The international management team also includes Edouard Roche, the President of Japan, and Carol Chiu, the SVP, General Manager of Asia Retail. They are now all subject to Villet, who continues to report directly to CEO Pierre-Yves Roussel.
“Thibault is an extraordinary leader, and I am very happy to expand its area of responsibility with Europe and the Middle East because we want to further expand the brand worldwide,” said Roussel in a statement published on Wednesday. “With its profound specialist knowledge of regional market dynamics, international business development and cross -cultural team management, Thibault is ideally suited to lead these important regions to persistent success.”
