Frenkie de Jong is getting married to his childhood sweetheart Mikky Kiemney from Brabant. The top football player has asked the Hilvarenbeekse to marry him during a holiday in the United States. “I can’t wait to share the rest of my life with you,” De Jong writes on Instagram.
De Jong and Kiemeney have known each other since their secondary school days in Tilburg. At the Koning Willem II College, they sat together in a class with talented athletes. They have been in a relationship since the spark started in 2014.
The couple has been living together in Barcelona since 2019, because De Jong is under contract with the local FC. Before that, they already lived together in Amsterdam, when De Jong played for Ajax.
