Motley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee posted a nude photo on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter a few weeks ago – the photo is now only available on Twitter. Now the musician not only made an official statement about the incident, but also appealed to his fans to drop the covers as well.
During a Motley Crüe show in San Antonio, Texas on Sunday (August 21), the drummer justified himself. He announced that he shared the photo on social media in the midst of a “binge spree.” “I got totally off track and stripped naked and posted pics of my cock. A few weeks ago we had a two-week break from the tour and I got drunk,” he said. He also asked his viewers to bare their genitals.

Are you ready?” he continues to ask the fans. A man volunteered in the audience, but his wife forbade it. Lee only commented on the discrepancy by exclaiming “Divorce!”.
It is unclear whether the fans were actually delighted or rather horrified by the drummer’s unconventional show performance. However, video recordings show that the fans reacted to Lee’s words with great euphoria. Nonetheless, the musician seems to feel a certain pride in looking back at the spectacle.
