Tom Cruise appeared at one of the Reunion concerts from Oasis in London at the weekend-and thus officially ended all remaining rumors about the extremely low-threshold, but deep seating (at least according to Oasis standards).
Cruise was more in the background at the concert on July 25th in the Wembley Stadium, but was discovered by the DJ and producer Goldie, who was sitting in front of him for a few rows. In a video that Goldie posted on social media, cruise can be seen in the background, and the DJ also shared a selfie with the Hollywood star.
Clear words in the documentary – and a questionable compliment
Even if it is completely understandable that a world -famous film actor, who largely lives in London, visits one of the biggest concert events of the year, Cruise and Oasis have a not entirely uncomplicated past, as “NME” reports. In the OASIS tour documentation “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down” from 2007 there is a scene in which Noel and Liam Gallagher are exceptionally agreed-when tearing Tom Cruise.
“He is a little wanker and he didn’t make a good film in his entire career,” said Noel.
Liam, on the other hand, explained that “cocktail” was “great”, but wiped the (actually applicable) opinions of others in the room to the side that considered “Eyes Wide Shut” to be successful. Then he added: “I hate Tom Cruise. Bastard. He and [Fußballer] Michael Owen. “
If these comments have ever been offended, he now seems to have overcome them – at least for the rock’n’roll. In addition, there was a vague formulated report in a tabloid in 2009, according to which Cruise and Liam were said to have “spoken to each other politely” when they happened to meet in a Berlin hotel – two years after “Lord Don’t Slow Me Down”.
Oasis reunion continues-international
Oasis still have some shows in London before the UK and Ireland stage continues on the Reunion tour. After that, North America is on the plan next month – with other concerts in Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Australia and South America until November.
