Serie A ends in the evening with the Champions League race and hopes of salvation. Also on the pitch are Catanzaro-Monza in Serie B and the return of the Serie C playoffs
The last great Sunday of Serie A begins at 3pm with the kick-off of Parma – Sassuolo and continues until late in the evening with the Champions League race and salvation united by Cremonese-Como, a match that promises high intensity despite the end of the season now being one step away. Milan, Juventus, Como and Roma are playing for two places in the Champions League in different conditions: the Rossoneri face an already safe Cagliari at San Siro, Roma will host an already relegated Verona, while Juventus and Como will have more than a few problems with their respective opponents. On paper, the Turin derby is the most frightening match, especially because the Bianconeri should get a result by hoping for simultaneous missteps from practically all their competitors. Como’s situation is softer: Cremonese needs the three points to save themselves but their competitor, coach Di Francesco’s Lecce, is playing at home with a Genoa now devoid of goals. Then in the afternoon Antonio Conte’s last hypothetical match at the helm of Napoli, firmly second in the standings and opposed to a Udinese team whose season finale is yet to be deciphered.

In the Premier League there is room for Guardiola’s last on the City bench: the Spanish coach will leave the club after ten years and twenty trophies won. The end of an era that will be celebrated by the club in the match against Aston Villa. Also in the Premier League, last call for Tottenham who, ninety minutes from the end, are playing for salvation in the match against Everton, twelfth and practically without goals.
