Tini Mulder came to Drenthe from Noord-Holland three years ago. In her previous homes she already did Rock & Roll dancing, but the coronation time was not favorable to her. “I thought it was here too, but when Corona came there was nothing at all.”

Her husband is not a dancer, so Mulder took matters into her own hands. She posted a call on Facebook and the ball started rolling. At the first dance evening there were immediately 28 people on the dance floor.

Although Mulder is still fanatically swinging and waving, she tackles it a little differently than in the 60s. “It is not very wild, but if you look at the images of the past and also at what I did then …”, she looks back. “If you then roll over the back and continue under the legs of the Lord, they are acrobatic tours.”

Whether she still picks up those acrobatic tours? “I don’t know, that’s a surprise,” laughs Mulder. You can see the answer in the report below.
