Tina Nijkamp finds it old-fashioned and uncomfortable that André Hazes Jr. bought a car for his girlfriend Noa Braaf. The TV authority is quite annoyed by it. “Back to the 50s!

André Hazes Jr. says in one of the episodes of his podcast that he not only makes his money from performing, but also from bitcoins. “That didn’t matter much at first, but when Trump came to power, things suddenly went through the roof. I then sold the bitcoins. People told me to hold on to them, but I wanted to get rid of them.”

Car for Noa

Ultimately, André listened to his feelings. “I sold at the peak and made a nice profit. I bought something beautiful from it: a car for Noa for her birthday. And then I still had money left over. Recently the share price collapsed completely again, so I bought again with the same money.”

It is purely an extra and he is not obsessive about it, he emphasizes. “Look at Ferry Doedens, he spends all day trading and hoping. For me this is really a stroke of luck. I bought it at the time and never looked at it again. Until that madman came to power in America and I thought: well, something will happen for a while!”

Tina is annoyed

Tina thinks it is old-fashioned and role-affirming that André gives such a gift to Noa. She doesn’t think it’s a romantic gesture, but a bit of a power relationship wrapped as a gift. “Back to the 50s!”she calls out to her analysis channel. “That women in 2026 still find this a really nice gift.”

She concludes: “Is it really possible? Probably, but brrrr. You don’t hear something like that often the other way around. It’s telling. Is that reality soap on SBS6 with him that he announced himself still going ahead? I never heard anything about it again.”
