Tina Nijkamp seems to take the place of Angela de Jong now that the Opinioniva of the AD has stopped as a TV critic. She will also join the VI table after the summer. “Nice charisma.”

Angela de Jong stopped her TV column fairly silently after all these years. Official to broaden itself with a general column, but the timing is telling. For the past two years she saw her influence crumbling because she suddenly had to share the spotlights with two other TV critics, namely Tina Nijkamp and Victor Vlam.

Just like Angela

The attention of the TV editors shifted more and more to Tina and Victor, and Angela will not have escaped that. Instead of slowly falling off her throne, she chose eggs for her money: away as a TV columnist, by as a general columnist on page two. A promotion or especially a strategic flight forward?

Anyway: a place has been released and it seems to be definitively filling in Tina. In the summer it was announced that from the new season she will regularly sit down at the table at today Inside, just like Angela used to do.

Snout

Johan Derksen would rather see Tina than Angela, he writes in his Telegraaf-Column. “With her successful column, she did wake up the Telegraaf. In the meantime, Tina Nijkamp is a formidable competitor there, while she also has a understanding of television in addition to gut feelings and she has a more pleasant charisma than the snibble AD diva.”

He continues: “Making sure she is more suitable for television. Furthermore, Victor Vlam is coming, with his merciless opinion that he pushes with valid arguments.”

Horror

Incidentally, Johan just keeps reading the pieces of Angela. “For the AD and the readers it is important that Angela de Jong continues to write her column. Delicious, I often read it with a smile, occasionally with horror.”

“She has become an indispensable commercial pawn. Half of the readers walk away with her, the other half finds her terrible, but everyone reads her column.”
