For several years now, open-air concerts in Berlin have started noticeably earlier because they end at 10 p.m. Even the Champions League final in football, Arsenal vs. Paris Saint-Germain, will kick off earlier than usual – at 6 p.m. (even if it doesn’t take place in Berlin!).

The Metallica concert on Saturday (May 30, 2026) in the Olympic Stadium is expected to end around 10 p.m. Not so bad – then you’ll be home earlier. However, the earlier start of the concert requires logistical planning, which – depending on how you arrive – extends into the early afternoon.

Metallica are on tour in Berlin with two supporting bands: Knocked Loose and Gojira. If you want to see these acts, you definitely have to go early.

Schedule for the Metallica concert on Saturday in Berlin

  • 5:30 p.m.: Knocked loose
  • 6:30 p.m.: Gojira
  • 8:00 p.m.: Metallica
