Uniqlo will launch a collection with Marni. The collection, which includes both women’s and men’s fashions, will be available from May 19, the Japanese fashion retailer announced on Tuesday.
Individuality and optimism were the focus when the designs were created. The items in the collection are based on Uniqlo’s simple and timeless patterns and Marni’s characteristic pattern and color mix. “Throughout the process, it was important for us to represent the ethos and integrity of the Uniqlo brand,” says Francesco Risso, creative director at Marni.
With nine items for women and ten items for men, the collaboration is manageable – but the individual pieces have a diverse design: from a blue jacket with a floral print to yellow checked trousers, a dress with an orange striped pattern or a pink balloon top.

“Uniqlo’s approach to simple, high-quality, functional clothing coupled with Marni’s creative power produces innovative LifeWear,” said Yukihiro Katsuta, Senior Executive Officer and Head of R&D at Uniqlo.
The price of the collection is between 12.90 euros for socks, 24.90 for T-shirts, 34.90 and 69.90 euros for trousers, skirts, tops and dresses, and jackets between 59.90 and 149.90 euros.
