Timberland restructures sales

The US outdoor brand Timberland is reorganizing its sales for the German, Austrian and Swiss (DACH) markets.

DACH, Scandinavia and BeNeLux will in future be combined as the Central/North sales region, the brand, which is part of the US clothing group VF Corporation, announced on Thursday. Alwin van Dijk will be responsible for the new region as Sales Director. The aim is to do justice to the changing market conditions and to continue to push growth.

The restructuring brings with it further changes. Alexander Schlosser has held the role of Sales Manager Central since the beginning of the year. He leads the sales team for the DACH region. Schlosser has been with Timberland for three years, most recently as Key Account Manager. He previously gained further experience in various roles at the shoe retailer Gabor, the Stephanskirchen fashion retailer Marc O’Polo and the Danish shoe retailer Ecco.

Yvonne Dahmen and Pierre Peschaud also form the brand’s field team. At the same time, Dahmen manages the Munich showroom, while Peschaud takes over the showroom in Hamburg and the northern sales region.
