Peter van der Vorst refuses to answer for the Voice scandal. He has been called by Tim Hofman, but walks around the presenter with a wide berth. “You’re disturbing me.”

The TV bosses responsible for The Voice of Holland all talk nice, but the fact is that there has never been an independent investigation into all the abuses. The Dubious Voicecreative Linde de Jong, who is also known as ‘Talpa-bitch’ since her arrogant performance in BOOS, still happily works in TV.

“You’re disturbing me!”

RTL boss Peter van der Vorst and his associates would prefer that no one talks about that TV scandal, but Tim Hofman does not participate in that. The BnnVara star is currently turning heads with a four-part podcast series about the Voice riot. He also calls Peter van der Vorst. And he picks up. “With Peter.”

Tim: “Peterrrr! You are speaking to Tim Hofman from BnnVara.”

Peter: “Good day, hello.”

Tim: “Am I disturbing you?”

Peter: “To be honest, yes, but it can be short.”

‘I want to question you’

Tim wants an interview with Peter. “It can be brief, okay. I just had a question: we are making a podcast with BOOS about the case of The Voice of Holland four years ago. I understood that it also roughly coincides with the new series of The Voice. That is a coincidence, by the way. What we find very interesting is talking to you.”

“It can last as long or as short as you have time. To see what happens behind the scenes when a questionnaire like ours arrives at RTL: how do you look back on it, what happens behind the scenes, what steps do you take and also the outcome. My question was whether I can ask you about that?”

‘I want to think!’

We don’t hear how that telephone conversation ends, but Peter talked his way out of it. “He said he wanted to think about it,” Tim said. “Then he texted: ‘I’ve thought about it. I don’t feel the need to look back now.’”

“He says: ‘Everything has been said and written in recent years. We have communicated extensively from RTL about the protocol, the various steps in the process and the new season. I have nothing to add to that and we hope that viewers will enjoy the program again.’”
