Till Lindemann provokes with a new choking video

Even the lyrics to the cover of “Entre dos Tierras” (from the Spanish band Heroes del Silencio from 1990) dive into the shady. “And if you don’t surrender / You’ll swallow a lot of mud,” it roughly translates. The song can be found on the singer’s new solo album, “Zunge”.

Now there will also be a music video for the single, and after all the controversy surrounding Till Lindemann last year, that could heat up more emotions than almost anything else that was released in connection with the record.

According to “BILD”, the singer posted a first preview clip on Instagram. Just 18 seconds, but it’s a lot. Lindemann can apparently be seen in the act of rape. Wearing a white suit and white hat with a nose ring, the musician attacks a scantily clad woman on a plantation in the scenes shown. You can see him unzipping his pants and throwing himself at her. He covers her mouth and ends up choking her.

Is Till Lindemann playing with the allegations against him?

After the allegations made against Lindemann last year, this seems to be a provocation with an announcement. Among other things, months ago there was talk of a system that had been in place for years that guaranteed the Rammstein frontman to have sex with mostly very young women at the Berlin band’s concerts, sometimes even allegedly during the gigs. There were also allegations of abuse, some made anonymously, some made publicly by women.

Is all of this ultimately a statement about the allegations, as a poem just published on Wednesday (January 10th) suggested? The complete video for “Entre dos Tierras” will also be available shortly. There may be another context for the violent scenes.
