The Pacific Palisades Fires are still raging across Los Angeles. Countless houses burned, forests burned down, thousands of people left homeless. Tom Hanks, Mandy Moore, Bill Kaulitz, Billy Corgan, Paris Hilton and many more are on the run. They have sad stories to tell, but also heroic deeds. Jennifer Garner, for example, helped the firefighters extinguish the fire. But she also lost a friend in the forest fires, as colleagues from the American ROLLING STONE report.
Germany’s acting star is also currently in California, as he reports on Instagram. “Back in LA!❤️,” writes Til Schweiger on the social network. “Back in Los Angeles,” followed by a heart emoji. To see: a palm beach. The view from the balcony in a terraced house perspective that is almost unusually modest by California star standards.
Til Schweiger in Los Angeles:
Pictured is a romantic looking sunset in Los Angeles, over the ocean. No fire, no ashes, no embers. The sky over the water is nevertheless reminiscent of the Blade Runner-like, apocalyptic, yellow-red celestial phenomena created by the Pacific Palisades Fires, or as is so often the case in regions affected by forest fires in Los Angeles.
Tasteless – or pleasing because a star has returned to Los Angeles to show support? Til Schweiger’s followers are torn.
“Oh no, I hope your house is spared. The main thing is that nothing happens to you and your family. It’s so terrible what’s happening. ❤️🙌👏. Take care of yourselves,” writes one. “Seriously?” asks another.
Or: “All around chaos, destruction and suffering. But Monsier (sic!) is enjoying the sunset…..” Another: “Are those clouds or smoke?”
Til Schweiger himself did not comment further on his photo from Los Angeles (January 10, 2025).
