Seventh intervention for the most successful golfer in history, who has not played a tournament since December 2024
Endless ordeal for Tiger Woods, forced to undergo a seventh back surgery. Woods – winner of 15 golf Slam tournaments – said he had felt pain and lack of mobility and explained that “exams showed a collapsed disc at L4/L5, disc fragments and a compromised spinal canal”. The most successful golfer of all time therefore “decided to replace the disc and I already know I have made a good decision for my health and my back”. The surgery took place in a clinic in New York.
