The works are estimated at 14 million euros. Tielt himself invests 1 million euros in the project. If everything goes smoothly, the works could start in two years. But for that it is waiting for the green light of the Flemish Region.
“A public investigation still needs to be organized, so we are still working on that for a while, but we mainly call on Flemish minister Annick De Ridder to approve the necessary financing as quickly as possible, in such a way that the works can then be quickly started after the administrative process,” says ships Byttebier.
