The Outpace 2 version is ideal for those who occasionally transport one or two bikes: it weighs less (15 kg), is slightly more compact and supports up to 50 kg overall. On the contrary, the Outpace 3 version allows you to transport up to 60 kg Out of three stations, while maintaining the same inclination feature and compatibility with carbon frames. It is designed for the most assiduous family or cyclists who want greater versatility, even if with a slightly higher size and weight (17.5 kg). Both versions guarantee high safety standards, support for wheels up to 29 “and frames from 20 to 90 mm, but the distance between the bikes is reduced in the triple version to optimize the space. The choice between the two models therefore depends on the transport needs: more compactness and lightness with the 2-bike, greater capacity and flexibility with the 3-bike.

The installation

The Thule Outpace is designed to offer a simple and safe installation to the car towing of the car, even for those who have no experience with holders. The fixing system is based on a tightening lever with a cam mechanism, which allows you to hook the hook to the hook quickly and stable, without the need for keys or tools. To install outpaces, it is sufficient:

The key locking mechanism allows you to fix the holder to the vehicle, reducing the risk of accidental theft or removal. Outpace is equipped with integrated rear lights powered by 13 -pole connector, compliant with European regulations for the lighting of towing devices. This greatly improves the visibility of the vehicle, in particular in the evening or in case of bad weather. In addition, both models have a key lock system for both bicycles and for the storage itself, compatible with the Thule One-Key system. In this way the user can use a single key for all Thule devices in use.
