Threesome receive Nobel Prize in Physics after groundbreaking research into quantum mechanics

This year’s Nobel Prize in Physics goes to the French Alain Aspect (75), the American John F. Clauser (79) and the Austrian Anton Zeilinger (77). The three scientists are pioneers in research into entangled photons (particles of light) and quantum mechanics (particles smaller than atoms).
