Three storms make wind turbines run at full capacity

A final inspection round of 400 offshore wind turbines was completed today. The storms were fierce, but the wind farms turned out to be rock solid. The turbines in the North Sea did not suffer any storm damage.

There are also images of a fairly serious incident on Friday for which the North Sea emergency plan was announced. In those images, which they have not released, you can see how a huge ship sails right through the wind farm in the full storm. A little later, an oil tanker also ran aground against the concession zone. Miraculously, no wind turbines were hit and the ships were not damaged.
