Steven Spielberg’s latest feature film The Fabelmans (2022) is available digitally from May 11th. The partly autobiographical biopic will also be available on Blu-ray and DVD from May 25th. For the home cinema launch, ROLLING STONE is giving away three digital vouchers and three Blu-ray packages containing other Spielberg works: “Duel”, “ET”, “Jurassic Park” and “Schindler’s List”.
“The Fabelmans” – content and plot
The US coming-of-age drama is partly autobiographical and takes up the childhood of the 76-year-old director. It accompanies the eponymous Fabelman family from New Jersey to Arizona and finally to California in the 1950s. Gabriel LaBelle has been cast to star, while his parents are played by Michelle Williams and Paul Dano. The film premiered in September 2022 at the Toronto International Film Festival. “The Fabelmans” was released in US cinemas in November 2022 and in German cinemas in March 2023.
