The fire has been raging since the end of the afternoon in the Leyhoeve complex on Dokter Bloemenlaan. About two hundred residents are evacuated.
The emergency services have scaled up extensively. According to the spokeswoman, the evacuation is going well.

The fire is burning on the second floor of the building. The safety region calls on people to stay away from the smoke. “Close windows and doors in the area and turn off the ventilation in your house.” In an update, the safety region writes that the fire appears to be getting smaller and the smoke development less. The fire brigade is still busy fighting the fire.
