The team of the German Gymnastics Federation (DTB) secured three final tickets on the first day of the 45th Masters Tournament in Cottbus.
On the uneven bars, Aiyu Zhu (TZ DSHS Cologne) and Lea Marie Quaas (TuS Chemnitz-Altendorf) convinced with 12.166 and 12.100 points, respectively, making it into the final of the top eight.
Nils Dunkel (13.900) from MTV Erfurt made it into the final in seventh place on the pommel horse.
The traditional competition was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to the corona pandemic. This year it will take place without spectators and with a strict safety and hygiene concept.
