Around one and a half years after her debut “Prelude to ecstasy” The Last Dinner Party bring out your second album in October. Reason enough to bring the new songs live and in front of an audience. The British band will be shown three times in Germany in spring.

In 2021, the group around Abigail Morris, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Aurora Nishevci was founded. Just two years later, her single “Nothing Matters” ended up in the UK charts, their subsequent LP “Prelude to Ecstasy” became the best-selling debut album since “Communion” by Years & Years in Great Britain.
Her second album “From the Pyre” will be released on October 17th. It represents a collection of stories that are connected by the myth of the prairie. It says in an official statement by the band: “Ghosting becomes a western dance with a murderer, and heartache laughs the apocalypse in the face”. While “Prelude to Ecstasy” are symbolically negotiating uncomfortable topics such as structural inequality and female rage at the opulent table, their new album should be a bit rougher and darker – or, as the band itself describes it itself: “Metattextual and cheeky”.

First, The Last Dinner Party play in Great Britain until they come to Europe via Australia in the New Year. In February 2026 they play three shows in Germany. Tickets are over this link available.
