Robert Coyne is back with a new album: “The Hiss of Life” is scheduled for release on September 2nd, 2022. He previously released the record Out Of Your Tree in 2018. According to the label, his new work is a “meditation on the stubbornness of the human spirit.” Tracks like “Curse Of The Cat People” and “In The Grip Of The Strangler” deal with the realization and acceptance of one’s own self-worth. Coyne is joined on the album by cellist Aglaja Camphausen, singer Wendy Coyne and guitarist Bob Ward.
