Three cars were completely burned out on Koningstraat in Valkenswaard during the night from Thursday to Friday. Residents in the street suffered breathing problems due to the intense fire. According to local residents, it is a case of arson.

The Valkenswaard and Bergeijk fire brigade responded to the fire with two fire engines and a water container for extinguishing water. They managed to extinguish the fire.

The three cars were parked one behind the other in the street, near houses. It appears that the middle car caught fire first, after which the other two also caught fire. The heat of the fire melted drainpipes of nearby houses.
