Three cars caught fire shortly after each other on Monday evening in different places in Rosmalen. The first van caught fire at Brabanthoeven around half past ten, followed by a car that caught fire five minutes later at Sluiskeshoeven. Then, around half past ten, a van on Huygensstraat was hit.
The first van caught fire at the rear and suffered significant damage. The car was completely burned out at the front five minutes later.
Windows broken
The other van that caught fire belongs to a local butcher’s shop. The bus was parked in front of an empty storefront. The windows of the building burst due to the high temperature.
The fire brigade arrived on site with two fire engines and the police also raised the alarm for three fires in a short time. It appears to be arson. Police could not be reached for comment Monday evening.
