Threat of strike over collective labor agreement at Villeroy & Boch Wellness in Roden

Trade unions FNV and CNV are threatening a strike at Villeroy & Boch Wellness in Roden. According to the unions, the manufacturer of bathroom and toilet interiors, among other things, refuses to conclude a decent collective labor agreement for its approximately 100 employees.

The unions have given the company an ultimatum until November 7 at noon. If there is no positive response before then, actions will follow.

The unions want a wage increase of more than 14 percent in a one-year collective labor agreement to compensate for high inflation. They also want wages to rise with inflation. According to the unions, Villeroy & Boch does not want to go further than a two-year collective labor agreement with an increase of almost 5 percent.

The final offer was almost unanimously rejected by the union members.

The unions want to make further collective labor agreements on care, informal care, bereavement and maternity leave.
