Thousands of bicycle lights on Dutch bicycles affected by production error in China: ‘Very sad’

Thousands of bicycle lights sold in the Netherlands are practically unusable due to a production error. Once the battery is empty, the user will no longer get the light on after charging, or even with a new battery. Producer Ziemi calls it ‘very sad’, but thinks it would be a shame to throw away tens of thousands of lights. The company therefore offers the defective lights for half the price, with special instructions.
