Exciting news from Jordan: Princess Iman and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis are expecting their second child.
Announcing new addition to the Jordanian royal family, Princess Iman (29) and her husband Jameel Alexander Thermiotis are set to welcome their second child. The news was publicly shared by Queen Rania (55), Iman’s mother, through her Instagram account.
In a backlit photo that resembles a silhouette, Iman stands facing her husband, who beams at her while holding their first child, daughter Amina. The little girl reaches out towards her mother’s prominent baby bump.

Alongside the image, Rania wrote, “The grandchild club is growing, and we are immensely happy for Iman, Jameel, and soon-to-be big sister Amina!”
This announcement means another grandchild for Rania and her husband, King Abdullah II (64). Currently, they have two grandchildren: Princess Iman bint Hussein—named after her aunt—who was born in the summer of 2024. She is the daughter of Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah (32) and Princess Rajwa Al Hussein (32).
Amina Thermiotis was born on February 16, 2025. Rania also celebrated this news on Instagram, stating, “My dear Iman is now a mother. We are grateful and overjoyed to welcome Amina, the latest blessing for our family.” Rania extended her heartfelt congratulations to the new parents.
While Queen Rania did not specify the exact due date for the third grandchild, the anticipation is already building within the royal household.
Fairy-Tale Wedding in March 2023
Iman and Jameel Alexander Thermiotis tied the knot in March 2023, with a stunning ceremony held at the Beit-Al-Urdun Palace in the Jordanian capital, Amman.
Following the celebration on Sunday, March 12, the royal family released several pictures from the wedding. Queen Rania also shared some beautiful memories from her daughter’s wedding on her official Instagram account. Reports indicate approximately 150 guests attended, and the ceremony was even broadcast live on Jordanian television.
