What is the future of Thomas Müller? FC Bayern has apparently made a decision. As the pay-TV broadcaster Sky reports, the German record champions are planning to extend the veteran’s contract for another year. Müller’s contract in Munich runs until this summer.

The offensive player has not yet received a written offer, but the importance of the 2014 world champion is being emphasized within the club – not only on but also off the pitch, as they say. However, the prerequisite for a contract extension is that Müller himself wants to continue. Bavaria has therefore not yet received a clear signal.

However, an extension would result in financial adjustments. Müller’s current annual salary, including bonus payments, is said to be up to 19 million euros gross.
