Thomas Müller gets into entrepreneurship-and invests vigorously in a children’s furniture startup.
After leaving Bayern, football star Thomas Müller goes under the entrepreneurs. Together with an investor group, the 35-year-old invests a seven-digit sum in a children’s furniture startup from the Lower Austrian Traiskirchen. The Poptop company announced this in a press release.
“Poptop thinks of children’s furniture new – with style, function and responsibility. The happy customers, the huge market and the strong team speak for themselves. Here, something really big can arise and I am very happy to be there,” the world champion from 2014 is quoted in it.
The company, founded by the “Woom” founders Christian BEDDEKA and Marcus Ihlenfeld, has been specializing in the development of height-adjustable children’s desk tables and other furniture for children’s room for almost two years.
Co -founder Marcus Ihlenfeld writes in the communication: “Our mission is clear: We revolutionize the children’s room – for an independent and creative generation of tomorrow. This is exactly what we focus on our entire actions and product development.”
Fresh capital is to be used to promote product innovations, strengthen brand awareness and promote international expansion. The construction of a global sales network is also planned.
