San “Diddy” Combs has asked the judge to exclude the proof used in a forthcoming trial.
This is a surveillance camera video filmed in March 2016, in which Diddy assaults his ex-female friend Cassie Ventura in the hallway of the hotel in Los Angeles. The video can be viewed at the beginning of the article.
According to Diddy’s defense, the origin of the video cannot be proven. The defense claims that CNN, which released the video, has manipulated and edited the video. CNN has denied the allegations and outlined that it has an original video.

CNN first released the video in May 2024. Diddy commented on the video at the time of the publication by saying that in 2016, she was on the basis of 2016.
– My behavior in this video is unforgivable. The acts are abominable. I was annoyed, as I did and I feel like it now. I applied for professional help. I’ve been to therapy and go for withdrawal treatment. I had to ask God for forgiveness and mercy. I’m sorry and I am dedicated to the idea that I could be a better man. I don’t ask for forgiveness but I’m sorry, Diddy commented a year ago.
Ventura is coming to testify to a trial, which will take place on 5 May.
New criminal charges were recently raised against Diddy. New charges apply to sex trafficking and illegal business. According to the BBC, there are at least more than 30 separate civilian rights against Diddy. She has been accused of kidnapping, drugging and coercion to sexual acts, sometimes with threats of weapons and violence. Diddy is also accused of being abused and raped.
