It is summer break in the football world, but they will not sit still in the coming weeks in the Philips Stadium in Eindhoven. A new player area is being worked hard. PSV shows on Friday on the basis of sketches what the stadium will look like.
After the last home game, PSV immediately started the renovation. There will be a renewed player area with improved changing rooms, player tunnel and a mixed zone. And there will be more toilets, catering points and better facilities for the supporters.
The board & sponsorship is also being overhauled, the scoreboards are being replaced and there will be extra sky boxes. At the same time, the third floor in the South is also renewed.
The time is for PSV, because the work must be finished before the end of July. Then the first exhibition match starts. Until then, the stadium remains accessible to the public, but there are consequences the PSV Stadiontour.
PSV Campus De Herdgang is also being renovated. In the meantime there is already a frame of what the new stadium De Herdgang should be.
