American rappers Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion are at loggerheads. This is not exactly a new thing. The duo’s bad relationship has been rumored for years, but the root causes of the cold relationship have never been made public.
The differences have heated up so badly now that the rappers published “disstracks” or mock songs about each other. The song that Megan published is called Elevator and the name of the song Nick released is Big Foot.
Megan released her own song first. In his song, he says that he finally needs to open his mouth and get things from his heart. He also emphasized in his lyrics that he doesn’t know exactly what it is about himself, but he’s not going to put up with bad treatment anymore. Megan’s song mentioned, among other things, Megan’s Law, which refers to the American law according to which the convictions of sex offenders must be public. Nick’s husband Kenneth Petty is a sex offender, so mentioning the law has been believed to be a thorn in the side of the rapper.
Just a few hours after the release of the song, Nicki announced that she would release the song Big Foot, in which she, among other things, mocked Megan as a bigfoot and a bitch, among other ugly adjectives. Megan is a tall woman with large feet.

Seasons of sloppiness
The two got along until a few years ago when they released a song Hot Girl Summer in 2019. Megan, who is starting her rap career, told in all her interviews how she has admired Nick for years.
Trouble seemed to start around 2020 when Megan made a song with Nicki’s nemesis Cardi B. Cardi B and Nicki are so tense that they are rumored to have gotten into a fistfight during the 2018 New York Fashion Week.
Cardi B and Megan WAPbecame a worldwide hit, which led Megan and Cardi B to collaborate more with each other. A year later, after the release of the song, it was reported in the entertainment media that Megan has started to distance herself from Nick, who in turn stopped following Megan on Instagram.

In 2022, Nicki said in a radio interview that there is a person in her life whose support led to being betrayed in the end. Fans strongly believe that it is Megan. Nicki was so angry with her old friend that she didn’t let the flowers be delivered to her house. Megan dismissed these claims made on the radio as lies on social media.
In March 2023, Nicki released her song Red Ruby Da Sleezein which he is believed to have taunted Megan several times.
The just-released tracks are the latest twist in the duo’s feud.
