There are also several changes to the racing calendar: Due to the Islamic fasting month of Ramadan, which begins in March, the first two Grand Prix – in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia – will be held on Saturdays, meaning training and qualifying will move to Thursday and Friday. The Australian Grand Prix continues in the usual rhythm – training on Friday, qualifying on Saturday, race on Sunday.

There will again be six sprint races: Sprint shootouts and sprint races will be part of the race weekend in China, Miami, Austria, Austin, Brazil and Qatar. China and Miami replace Azerbaijan and Belgium, which held sprints in 2023.
