Will Eintracht Braunschweig also play in the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming season? There can be clarity on Saturday. The BTSV has everything in its own hand.

The remaining league is not yet fully secured. Before the home game on the 32nd matchday against Fortuna Düsseldorf (Saturday, 1 p.m.), the team of coach Daniel Schering has everything in his own hands. Because: The lead over relegation place 16 and the direct descent place 17 for three remaining games is five points.

Also means: Eintracht can clarify on Saturday. This requires protecting help – and in any case your own victory. Only if you win against the sixth of the table from Düsseldorf can you hope for a preliminary decision at all.

In addition, neither Prussia Münster (on Friday evening at 1st FC Magdeburg) nor SSV Ulm (against Hannover 96) may win. With a draw of both teams and a success of harmony, the league remaining would be secured. The same applies to the opponents’s own victory and defeats.

If only one of the two wins, at least the direct descent is no longer an issue in the event of their own victory against Düsseldorf. Then, in the worst case, Eintracht would be required in the relegation against the third in the table of the 3rd division. These duels are scheduled for Friday, May 23, and Tuesday, May 27th.
