The last season describes the last weeks of Princess Diana’s life – and the death of the princess of hearts. Diana is played in the series Elizabeth Debicki.
Princess Diana died in a car accident at the age of 36 in Paris in August 1997.
The series has been indignantly viewed in Britthof since its beginning. Dealing with Diana’s death has been its own chapter. Earlier, even the creators of the series worried about Diana’s sons, Prince William and Prince Harry.
Series director Christian Schwochow has now commented on the handling of Diana’s death For Deadline publication. Schwochow emphasizes that Diana’s death is treated with tact in the series.
– It was really clear to us that we don’t want to show his body. In fact, it wasn’t even discussed, the director commented.
The sad scenes taking place at the end of the 90s were filmed last fall, when only a moment had passed since the death of Queen Elizabeth.
