A little more than two weeks after his father’s death Ozzy Osbourne has Jack Osbourne on Instagram published a moving obituary. “I didn’t want to post anything since my father’s death. My heart hurt too much,” he wrote. “I stay briefly because he hated long, excessive speeches.”

The post was accompanied by a video that shows excerpts and photos from Jack’s life with Ozzy. In one scene, his father teaches him how to bow properly and tell the audience good night. In other moments, Ozzy plays with his son’s young daughters. The video begins with a appearance by the very young Jack on the Howard Stern Show, in which he says it is “very cool” to name Ozzy.
Gratitude and quote from Hunter S. Thompson
“He was so much for so many people, but I was lucky and the blessing to belong to the small group that was allowed to call him ‘Dad’,” wrote Jack. “My heart is full of sadness and pain, but also full of love and gratitude. I had 14,501 days with this man, and that’s a blessing.”
