This is Christopher Nolan’s favorite series

After the first episode of The Curse aired, filmmaker Christopher Nolan moderated a Q&A with actors and co-writers Nathan Fielder and Benny Safdie. The latter also directed and had recently worked with Nolan when he portrayed the Hungarian-American physicist Edward Teller in “Oppenheimer”. The “Tenet” maker describes the satirical comedy format from Paramount+ and Showtime with Fielder and “La La Land” star Emma Stone in the lead roles as “unlike anything I’ve seen on television before”.

“There are so few series that really have no role models,” led Nolan gave his opinion and continued: “I mean, you go back to things like ‘Twin Peaks’ or ‘The Prisoner’ or Dennis Potter’s ‘Singing Detective’ – things like that. “So you’re in an amazing space and I can’t wait for the audience to see the climax.”
