This fashion divides opinion – Underwear or dress?

The trendy spring dress is mistakenly reminiscent of an outfit that is a more familiar sight in the bedroom.

Style stars have preferred satin or silk slip-in dresses with lace and ruching.

Trendsetters have fallen in love this spring with a dress that is clearly inspired by underwear and nightwear. Such boudoir outfits were seen a lot at fashion weeks, where this year’s spring and summer fashion was presented. So it’s no wonder that these are starting to appear more and more in the street scene.

As we wrote before, decorative lace, ruching details, and shimmering satin and silk material are the juju of the boudoir outfit.

Model Hailey Bieber had chosen a white dress, mistakenly resembling a nightgown. A lace dress is a more traditional choice for a party, but Bieber shows that it works as a casual dress as well. Casual sneakers give the outfit a down-to-earth counterforce.

Lingerie-inspired clothes were last seen in the last decade. Then, as surely as now, this trend will divide opinion.

At its best, a boudoir dress is sensually elegant, but some people think it just, well, looks too much like underwear or a nightgown. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable in the outfit and wear it with style. If you want to balance the underwear-like impression, put on a jacket or sweater.

Singer Madison Beer paired the little black dress with sexy stay-up stockings. The flash of lace on stay-up socks fits the lingerie trend perfectly.

Eva Longoria combine a sexy silk dress with a jacket and heels: a spectacular party look is ready.

Model Irina Shayk in a white lace dream. The dress itself can be very covering and simple, instead, lace tights bring a lingerie spirit to the outfit.
