He continues: “Such a program is of course typical NPO, but it has no impact. It costs money, but about 20,000 people are looking at it. What a decadence, I think. With a commercial channel, such a program was immediately deleted.”
‘Eva in the left’
And then the other talk programs of the NPO? “I think it’s a shame that the talk shows of the NPO, Bar Laat and Eva, have a left-activist character. Being very annoying are those regular guests who say they are a journalist, but are actually activist.”
He emphasizes: “A majority of taxpayers votes on the right. Those are the people who pay for the public broadcaster, but they are not well represented. Unwise, because I think the support of the public broadcaster is really at stake.”
NPO problem
Incidentally, it is not only an NPO problem, says Victor. “The vast majority of TV programs are from left-wing cut, because most journalists have a left profile, also with the commercials. Beau, Humberto and Renze are center links, that has only become clearer in recent years.”
