Thimo Schwenzfeier will manage the Sustainability Store

Thimo Schwenzfeier will manage the first store with a sustainable store concept of the Düsseldorf fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg. Schwenzfeier has been General Sales Manager at the company since January 1 and will take over the management of the new P&C store in Berlin, Peek & Cloppenburg confirmed to FashionUnited. The specialist magazine Textilwirtschaft had previously reported on the appointment of Schwenzfeier.

According to his profile on the LinkedIn careers network, Schwenzfeier was most recently Head of Marketing at the Greentech Festival. Before that, he was responsible for the marketing and communication of the textile fairs Messe Frankfurt for a little over eight years and took over the management of the sustainability fair Neonyt as Show Director in 2018.

Peek & Cloppenburg Düsseldorf’s sustainable plans in Berlin

Some time ago, Peek & Cloppenburg announced the opening of the first store with a sustainable store concept. According to information from Düsseldorf at the end of June, this is to be built in Berlin’s High Street district on Potsdamer Platz and will test sustainability solutions that could then also be rolled out in other branches. The Sustainability Store is scheduled to open at the end of March.
