– It’s great to be able to show this great and ambitious movie to the audience, the actress Pyry Kähkönen rejoicing.

Kähkönen Let me love more The movie premiered on October 3.

The novelty descriptions directed by Oskari Sipola ended a year ago and Kähkönen almost forgot that the movie had ever been made. Now, however, everything is concretized as a finished movie on the screen.

Kähkönen plays Antti, a musician who falls in love with Rita Behm’s acting in Suvi. Antti has his own dreams in music and sometimes wrinkles come not only for love but also for musical views with a partner.

The film dives into the waves of love and your own dreams. Kähkönen sees that the film tells an important story.

– It’s a good idea to love instead of just roasting, Kähkönen sums up the movie’s message.

The actor believes that many can identify with the film. However, there is one special target group that Kähkönen would like to watch the film.

– I wish the young men would go to see this. For me, that movie is a pretty therapeutic movie and I bet it might be for many.

Uncertainty

Kähkönen himself identifies with the theme of the film. Sometimes diving into the mood was even difficult.

– Probably everyone in this field is able to identify with some dream and fire. It also involves that what if not. What if this is taken away from me.

With uncertainty, Kähkönen says he struggles almost every day.

– Almost every day I leave the set, I wonder if I should change the industry, Kähkönen laughs.

The idea is linked to Kähkönen’s interests in general to work as an actor. The fact that Kähkönen is visible through his work is not significant to him.

– I want to do this because I can dive into something and forget myself, play seriously, and experience great moments with the opposite actors.

– If you have been nervous or self -conscious, then I think why I do this.

However, Kähkönen states that one scene where he has a sense of freedom may be enough to correct this idea.

Worry about the film industry

The poor situation in the film industry has recently been in the title. Work is scarce and cuts in the budget rush are threatening to further weaken the situation in the industry.

Kähkönen has also followed the debate on the situation in his field.

– It’s alarming. Of course, that we have a job, but also because it would be a creepy idea if there were no Finnish films in Finland.

Kähkönen regrets that the budgets are still tight at the moment.

– We always wonder why the other Nordic countries do such great things. They put a lot more money and time in the script, says Kähkönen.

Despite the poor situation in the industry, Kähkönen has been able to play significant roles. In addition to the movie More, Kähkönen has previously been seen in Netflix’s international Vikings: Valhalla in the series.

As for Kähkönen’s own dreams and dreams, he seems to be relaxed with them.

– I don’t necessarily have a masterplan. As such, I identify with Antti that I am quite ambitious. But somehow I would just like to do this profession. Then I don’t know what I will do if it is not.
