Bernie Mackowski, a long -standing basketball and baseball referee in the United States, was honored by the fans present after 51 years of career. The Northwestern women’s basketball team called a timeout a few seconds from the end of the match against Eisenhower. Not to plan a last shot, but to give Mackowski a last farewell.
