The season is coming to an end in both the German professional leagues and internationally. Some sporting decisions could be made at the weekend.

Tension until the end? In some cases, some decisions could be made both in the three German professional leagues and internationally well before the end of the season-more precisely next weekend. T-online explains what to look out for.

In the Bundesliga, the championship fight could be decided on the 31st matchday. To do this, FC Bayern would have to win his game at FSV Mainz 05 and Leverkusen would have to leave points against FC Augsburg – whether in the form of a draw or a defeat. Then, depending on the scenario, the Munichers would have ten or eleven points ahead. In the case of three outstanding games and nine points to be awarded, the titles would no longer have to be taken.

No team can get off at the other end of the table, but the relegation battle could be limited to three teams that make up the two direct relegation places and the relegation place among themselves. Because St. Pauli and Hoffenheim could be a table-14. and table-15. already secure the relegation. That would be the case if they win their duels and Heidenheim did not create victory on the relegation place. In this case, Heidenheim, Bochum and Kiel would only play on the last three match days about who would still get the chance in relegation.

The promotion struggle in the 2nd Bundesliga will probably remain exciting until the last matchday. At least in terms of mathematical, ten teams are currently fighting for a direct promotion place.

The first decisions could be made in the table cellar. So Regensburg could be the first relegation. Should Münster win his duel against Darmstadt on the relegation place and lose Regensburg against Braunschweig, the walk to the 3rd league for the Jahn would be determined.

There is also no immediate decision in the struggle for ascent of the 3rd division. Table leader Dynamo Dresden could at least secure the relegation place with a victory with the simultaneous defeat of the fourth FC Saarbrücken.

The table cellar is particularly exciting. There, the bottom of the table Unterhaching has been the first relegation since last match day. This weekend it could catch two more teams with Hannover II and SV Sandhausen.

Particularly explosive: with the table 16. Mannheim plays the club on the last non-relegation zone against the tied table-17. VfB Stuttgart II. This is explosive for Hannover II and Sandhausen, as this will definitely score at least one of the two clubs.

Hanover is currently the penultimate with 30 points nine points behind Mannheim and Stuttgart. If Mannheim and Stuttgart separate themselves, Hannover almost would have to win against Dortmund II in order to still have chances of staying in the class on the remaining three match days. With a draw, the saving bank would still be in mutually within a punch with nine points. In the goal difference, Hanover is more than 18 goals worse than Mannheim and ten goals worse than Stuttgart. If there is a winner in the duel Mannheim against Stuttgart II, Hanover is finally condemned to win, it wants to be the arithmetic chance of the goal difference. A draw or a defeat would then mean descent.
