These days, motorists have to take a detour to reach Dorpsstraat

The bridge at the Leidsewallen is closed due to work. This means that you cannot reach the large parking lot on Osylaan and the Palenstein district via the Delftsewallen.

The road is closed to motorists in both directions. Cyclists and walkers can walk on the sidewalk. The closure will last until Friday, November 10, 4:00 PM.

New gutters

The bridge provides drainage on this part of the Leidsewallen. The municipality is having the bridge’s gutters replaced. This means that the street is completely open and no traffic is allowed.

No specific diversion

The area where the work takes place is fenced off. The information boards about the barrier are only at the bridge. As a motorist, you will only come across this sign when you approach the closure. This means turning around and continuing your way via a different route.

An alternative route is to turn from Karel Doormanlaan to Piet Heinstraat, and then drive via Schoolstraat and Osylaan towards Dorpsstraat. You can reach the Palenstein district via Osylaan and Van Diestlaan.
